Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Geoscientist to manage and oversee all geological activities related to exploration drilling.

The successful candidate will play a key role in planning, execution, and data acquisition while ensuring efficient collaboration with operations teams.

  • Geological Leadership & Management:
  • Lead and manage all geological activities, ensuring alignment with exploration objectives.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to develop exploration drilling plans and data acquisition strategies.
  • Oversee the planning, preparation, and execution of subsurface G&G data acquisition programs.
  • Exploration Well Supervision:
  • Review exploration well proposals to ensure technical accuracy and feasibility.
  • Supervise well monitoring and reporting activities carried out by operations geologists during drilling operations.
  • Technical Development & Knowledge Sharing:
  • Provide guidance and training to operation geologists and wellsite geologists.
  • Support the Exploration Manager by gathering regional exploration drilling information and strengthening industry networks.
