Job OpportunityWe are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims Analyst to join our team. As a Claims Analyst, you will be responsible for handling single and multi-party personal or commercial line claims of low to moderate exposure and complexity.
Main Responsibilities- You will document claims files by accurately capturing and updating claims data/information.
- You will determine liability by gathering and analyzing relevant facts.
- You will analyze and determine policy coverage.
- You will work to achieve timely resolution of claims by developing case strategy, developing a case evaluation, escalating issues as appropriate.
- You will establish timely reserves and perform ongoing review throughout the claims cycle within authority limits.
- You will assess damages.
- You will negotiate settlement of claim by establishing an appropriate negotiation strategy.
- You will meet quality standards by following best practices.
- You will ensure customer service by proactively communicating information, responding to inquiries, following customer protocols.
- You will align with the organization's Claims Vendor Management strategy.
- You will ensure legal compliance by following laws and regulations and internal control requirements.
- You will refer claim to subrogation and fraud teams.
- You will contribute to profitable growth by providing risk insight, information, and trends to Business Unit or customer as needed.
- You will protect Zurich's reputation by keeping claims information confidential.
- You will understand current industry trends and establish personal networks and participate in professional societies.
To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Corporate Administration, or a related field.
Desirable skills include proficiency in managing claims processes and ensuring timely resolution, excellent communication skills to interact with clients and other stakeholders.
