We are seeking a seasoned Oil Refinery Development Lead to lead the development of new refinery projects at Petron Malaysia Refining & Marketing Bhd. As an Oil Refinery Development Lead, you will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic project development and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities, driving revenue growth through strategic project development.
  • Project Planning: Responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating refinery projects, ensuring efficient delivery and adherence to objectives.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with stakeholders, including procurement, engineering, and finance teams.
  • Project Monitoring: Monitor project progress, assess design impacts, and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Team Leadership: Ensure active engagement of team members and adherence to best practices.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present key milestone completions and progress status reports.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering with outstanding academic achievement.
  • Minimum 5-10 years' experience in petroleum refining or chemical plants.
  • Solid experience in project management and risk-based integrity management.
  • Strong communication and critical analysis skills.
  • Result-oriented with broad-based technical expertise.
  • Willingness to be based at Port Dickson Refinery.
