About the RoleThe PBL Supplier Quality Engineer will be responsible for implementing quality management systems for Private/Brand Label suppliers. This includes developing and implementing quality plans, conducting quality audits, and driving supplier quality improvement initiatives. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement quality management systems for PBL suppliers
- Lead and drive supplier quality improvement based on TE internal or customer requirements
- Handle customer complaints, collaborate with internal teams, and verify root causes and follow-up actions
- Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Conduct regular quality system audits and process audits for suppliers
- Develop and report supplier performance metrics to top management
- Evaluate supplier performance and provide training
- Improve co-product quality (CoPQ) and yield; conduct management reviews and implement actions
- Establish cosmetic standards and quality inspection plan dimensions and drive suppliers to adhere to them
- Cordinate annual audits and onsite process audits when necessary
- Manage NPI and migration projects, including BKM, GR&R, FAAR, safe launch, and sample verification
- Implement product process control to identify risks and mitigate them
- Verify 5M1E change control, follow approval processes on the customer side, and implement processes on the supplier side
- Monitor supplier quality performance, summarize scorecards, and request improvements for risk suppliers
