Hourly Rate:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of RM60 - RM100 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Profile:

We seek a qualified and experienced Biology teacher to join our team of educators. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students studying international curriculums, including IBDP, AP, IGCSE and A-Levels.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop comprehensive Biology lesson plans aligned with IGCSE and A-Level standards.
  2. Implement teaching methods to cater to diverse student needs, abilities, and learning styles.
  3. Use various assessment methods to track student progress and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Cultivate critical thinking, inquiry-based learning, and scientific curiosity among students.
  5. Prepare students for exams by providing guidance on exam techniques and strategies.
  6. Maintain a positive and conducive learning environment in the classroom.
  7. Provide feedback to students and parents on academic progress and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Biology, Education, or a related field.
  2. Teaching qualification or certification is advantageous.
  3. Proven experience in teaching Biology, preferably within the IGCSE and/or A-Level frameworks.
  4. Strong knowledge of Biology curriculum standards and examination formats.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Passion for teaching and motivating students to reach their academic potential.
