Responsibilities:

  1. Warehouse Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the 3PL warehouse, ensuring that operations meet performance standards, are cost-effective, and meet customer expectations.
  2. Inventory Management: Monitor and track inventory levels in the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timely restocking. Coordinate with the 3PL provider to resolve discrepancies and manage stock levels effectively.
  3. Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to warehouse performance, including order fulfillment, shipping accuracy, and inventory turnover. Provide actionable insights and generate reports for senior management.
  4. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize warehouse workflows. Collaborate with the 3PL provider to improve service levels and customer satisfaction.
  5. Shipping & Receiving Coordination: Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to customers. Work with the 3PL warehouse to ensure proper handling and storage of products.
  6. Vendor & Relationship Management: Act as the main point of contact for 3PL providers. Manage the relationship with the logistics partner, ensuring clear communication, resolution of issues, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
  7. Compliance & Safety: Ensure that all warehouse operations are compliant with regulatory requirements and safety standards. Work with 3PL to enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
  8. Performance Metrics & KPIs: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the 3PL warehouse. Report on warehouse performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
