You'll join the Software Engineering & DevSecOps chapter, partnering with experts in various aspects of software engineering. Together, we collaborate on multiple products contributing to Roche's business requirements.

Your responsibilities will include optimizing and automating platform and cloud-based services to support application development. You'll focus on ensuring cost-effectiveness, scalability, and security in all aspects of the digital product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with architects and developers to establish technical specifications.
  2. Understand product strategy, business requirements, and translate them into development tasks.
  3. Drive the implementation and maintenance of efficient Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery pipelines.
  4. Deploy and manage software applications using Infrastructure as Code principles.
  5. Implement robust security practices throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.
  6. Develop observability solutions to measure software application availability and performance.

Requirements:

The following skills are essential:

  • Experience in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to retirement of systems.
  • Agile software development methodologies, source code management tools (Gitlab, Github), CI/CD Pipelining (Gitlab-ci, Github actions, Jenkins).
  • Python programming, observability and monitoring tools (DataDog, Splunk, LogicMonitor, Elastic Search, Grafana).
  • Docker and/or Kubernetes, AWS/Azure Cloud Providers.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and across multiple time zones.
