The Role

This full-time position based in Kajang, Selangor, involves managing the company's bookkeeping, financial reporting, and accounting operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of our thriving construction business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reports, and analysis for management
  • Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business decision-making
  • Implementing and improving financial processes and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role, ideally within the construction industry
  • Able to adapt to upcoming E-invoicing
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations
  • Excellent proficiency in using UBS software, spreadsheets, and other financial tools
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work to tight deadlines with a high level of attention to detail
  • A team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant accounting qualifications or certifications, such as LCCI, would be an advantage
