About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team at TIME's group in Kuala Lumpur. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive accounting and bookkeeping support to our growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review
  • Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
  • Liaise with external accountants and auditors to ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards
  • Provide administrative support, such as processing invoices and managing petty cash
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and procedures

Requirements:

  • Relevant accounting or bookkeeping qualifications, such as a diploma or degree in Accounting or a similar field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail or manufacturing industry
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
  • Proficient in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive and adaptable, with a keen interest in continuously improving financial processes
