Job Overview

This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations and short/long-term planning for the production lines managed by the Operations Manager. Key responsibilities include ensuring smooth production processes, managing inventory control, engineering, and shipping/receiving functions. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills and be able to communicate effectively with team members.

Responsibilities
  1. • Monitor employee performance, provide guidance, and maintain action logs.
    • Ensure proper equipment setup and maintenance of production lines, adhering to prescribed line layouts and work instructions.
    • Maintain cleanliness and ensure safe equipment operation, reporting any issues promptly.
    • Set a positive example for quality, attendance, confidentiality, professionalism, and teamwork.
    • Enforce company policies and safety regulations, consistently applying Quality System procedures.
    • Complete required documentation, handling suspect or reject material according to Quality System procedures.
    • Make informed decisions on operations related to assigned lines, collaborating with production control to adapt to schedule changes.
Requirements

We are seeking candidates with strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in production line management. Key qualifications include:

  • • Proven ability to motivate and lead operators to meet production goals.
    • Strong knowledge of personal computers, MRP systems, and blueprints.
    • Excellent attention to detail, mathematical skills, and understanding of production procedures.
    • High School diploma or equivalent, with 5 years of experience as a production line leader.
