We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Chong Lee Leong Seng Co Ltd.

Job SummaryWe are currently seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to become part of our team. This permanent position will be based at our Kulai Jaya, Johor Bahru office.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair alternating current electrical systems on generators, automatic transfer switches, generator controls, and engine-related mechanical failures;
- Perform routine preventative maintenance, oil and filter changes, and inspections on all generators;
- Diagnose and repair any issues found during Genset testing;
- Perform voltage adjustment on generators based on customer requirements;
- Re-wire, adjust and install control panels and breakers;
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of electrical and mechanical equipment;
- The ability to interpret engineering drawings, interconnection wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics and troubleshoot the Generator Set;
- Experience with Volvo, Perkins, Doosan, MTU, and other diesel engines ranging from 20-3000kVA;
- A Professional Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent or higher;
- Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in the electrical installation, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning diesel generator sets;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Solution-oriented with good negotiation skills;
- Able to work independently as well as in a team;
- Structured and organised, with good attention to detail;
