Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Reliability Engineer to oversee long-term equipment reliability, operational security, and plant improvement projects at our Sungai Puloh, Klang site. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for allocating resources, estimating workloads, ensuring quality maintenance, managing projects within safety guidelines, and planning engineering improvements effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead maintenance and engineering projects to deliver expected outputs.
  • Drive continuous improvements in production.
  • Develop and implement operation security strategies.
  • Identify and address manufacturing line capacity and capability constraints or pain points through creative engineering solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with best industrial practices and innovation.
  • Communicate equipment breakdown findings and actions to relevant parties.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans for specific equipment using a systematic approach.
  • Share technical knowledge with Engineers and Technicians through coaching and training sessions.
  • Perform duties as directed by management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in maintenance of continuous process equipment in Steel, Paper, or Aluminium industry is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work under pressure and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
