About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Actuarial Pricing & Underwriting Analyst to support our retail insurance strategy in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with pricing, sales, claims, policy administration, and finance teams to ensure adequacy in premium, deliver quality customer propositions, and exchange relevant insights on the motor portfolio.
  4. Market Analysis and Product Development: Stay updated with market trends, customer preferences, and regulatory changes to anticipate shifts in the industry landscape and make informed underwriting decisions, involving in new and revamp of retail products from product design, pricing, and crafting policy wordings.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in motor and commercial motor underwriting, with in-depth knowledge of the Singapore insurance market and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to maintain a balance between risk management and business profitability.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, insurance, actuarial science, finance, or a related field is typically required, along with certifications in BCP, PGI, and ComGI.
