About the Position
This Mechanic role requires strong technical skills and attention to detail. The successful candidate will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair site mechanical equipment, buildings, and machines.
Responsibilities:- Maintain, service, and inspect heavy vehicles.
- Identify and replace damaged vehicle parts.
- Determine necessary tools for maintenance or repairs.
- Clean, store, and maintain equipment.
- Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and perform preventative maintenance.
Requirements:
- Diploma or certification in mechanics.
- Ability to read, calculate, and write in English (proficiency in Malay will be an advantage).
- Valid driver's license (E&GDL).
- 4-5 years of experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, preferably with Hino Truck experience.
- Willingness to travel to various locations within Malaysia and work outside regular working hours, including public holidays.
