Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Logistics and Inventory Leader to join our team in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

  • This role will oversee the management and support of the existing facility to maximise capacity, ensuring compliance with all legislative and statutory requirements.
  • The successful candidate will deliver a strong health and safety culture within the distribution centre, maintaining at all times a safe working environment, minimising risks and delivering high standards of housekeeping.
  • This position will also be responsible for delivery of efficient and robust processes and procedures within the DC, managing local carriers and negotiations as agreed with Global Freight Manager.

About You

You will have experience in managing high volume distribution centres at a senior management level, with strong change management skills in processes and employee leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process improvement & Quality control
  • Maintains strong quality control processes.
  • Leads S&OP process implementation and improvement.
  • Work with warehouse team seamlessly in driving the development and implementation of inventory management processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

People Management

  • Provide clear leadership developing a high performing and highly engaged team.
  • Provide clear leadership and direction that engages DC employees.
  • Work closely with Market Leadership Team to drive the SEA business (country including SG, MY & PH).
  • Ensure that the necessary resources and skills are readily accessible at the distribution center to fulfill both present and future business requirements.
