Job OverviewThe Safety and Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring our organization meets all relevant safety standards. This includes developing and implementing safety programs, managing regulatory compliance, and conducting audits to mitigate risks.
Responsibilities- Compliance Management:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety regulations under DOSH, CAAM, DOA, and DOE.
- Implement policies to ensure organizational adherence to these regulations.
- Safety Program Development:
- Create and manage safety programs that align with industry standards.
- Collaborate with teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks.
- Incident Response:
- Lead incident investigations to identify root causes.
- Develop corrective action plans to prevent future incidents.
- Professional Development:
- Pursue ongoing education and training in safety management.
- Stay current on industry best practices and regulatory changes.
- Relevant degree in Aviation Management or related field.
- Certification in Safety Management is beneficial.
- Background in Aviation Operations, Safety compliance, or risk management is preferred.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations under DOSH and CAAM.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
