Celestica Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer, Test Manufacturing to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing test strategies, optimizing test setups and processes, and ensuring the quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement test strategies for new products, including design and qualification of test fixtures, test equipment, and test software.
  • Drive and validate test requirements, specifications, and limits for new product introductions.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot yield issues, providing root cause analysis and recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide training and guidance to test technicians, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop and maintain test station procedures, preventative maintenance plans, and troubleshooting guides to support production.
  • Stay up-to-date with new manufacturing test technology and methodology, introducing innovative solutions to enhance production efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or computer science.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in manufacturing test engineering, with a strong background in test strategy development and implementation.
  • Proven experience with Visual Basic and other programming languages.
  • Deep understanding of design for testability (DFT) and design for manufacturability (DFM) methods.
  • Knowledge of electromechanical systems, including sensor application and limitations, and DC circuits.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
