About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Risk Management and Compliance Officer to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As a key member of our Operational team, you will be responsible for maintaining high-quality control measures and monitoring risk-management procedures.

Your expertise in risk management and compliance will enable us to maintain our position as a leader in our industry. You will work closely with our Operational teams to identify and address potential risks, ensuring our quality framework remains effective and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and comply with company quality standards
  • Maintain records and tracking systems for complaint and nonconformance processing
  • Document quality assurance activities through internal reporting and audits
  • Identify training needs and ensure staff compliance
  • Support operations by tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels and individual performance metrics
  • Contribute to enhancing and updating the Quality Framework as needed
  • Monitor risk-management procedures and report functionality gaps/issues to the System stabilization project
  • Provide training and support to other quality assessors on systems, policies, procedures, and core processes
About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in risk management and compliance
  • Strong technical skills, including working knowledge of our company's processes and fund rules
  • A solid background in Financial Reporting and controls
  • Experience within the finance industry (RG146 or tertiary education is desirable)
  • The ability to work autonomously under tight deadlines with multiple deliverables
  • Strong attention to detail, enabling you to understand customers' inquiries, seek clarification, and provide accurate responses
  • Good organization skills, with the ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and escalate when necessary
  • An optimistic attitude, allowing you to demonstrate problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal, including telephone manner)
  • A strong service focus, with a proactive approach to meeting deadlines
