The Role
  • We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with experience in KYC / CDD/ EDD roles, focusing on Corporate Clients only.
  • You will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations and due diligence processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Your strong analytical skills will enable you to identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and conduct timely CDD reviews in accordance with MAS 626 regulations and associated regulatory requirements.
  2. Liaise with Relationship Managers to gather required documentation and information.
  3. Ensure ongoing CDD reviews align with internal policies and procedures.
  4. Maintain accurate data records in systems and documentation.
  5. Extract relevant data from worksheets and reports for distribution to respective Business Units.
  6. Assist Business Units in responding to various CDD enquiries from local authorities or correspondent banks.
  7. Perform screening assessments and escalate material hits for further clearance.
  8. Provide regular statistics and presentations to Senior Management as required.
  9. Participate in ad-hoc assignments and projects, such as audits and user acceptance testing.
Requirements
  • Degree holder with prior experience in KYC / CDD/ EDD roles.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and ability to think independently.
  • Maintain high knowledge of regulatory requirements and associated standards.
  • Emotionally mature with excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in Excel with advanced functions like Vlookup and PivotTables.
  • Strong interest in developing a career as a KYC / CDD specialist.
  • Good command of written and spoken English, with additional language skills an advantage.
  • Able to raise sensitive issues constructively and arrive at solutions.
  • Self-driven team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in AFC (e.g., CAMS) desirable.
