We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our innovative team at MKS Instruments' Penang, Malaysia facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes for electro-mechanical parts, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.

  • Key responsibilities include leading the transition of product manufacturing processes between international locations, collaborating with multinational teams on high-volume manufacturing processes, and improving production efficiency through process performance analysis and optimization.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain methods, operation sequences, and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.
  • Proactively launch LEAN manufacturing-related projects to enhance efficiency, quality, safety, and cost savings.

To be successful in this role, you should possess a BS (IE/ME/EE) degree with 3+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical, electromechanical, or Quality systems. Proficient in English, both written and verbal, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with international counterparts.
