Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to develop and implement process improvements that increase productivity and reduce costs.
  2. Troubleshoot complex technical issues through electronic testing, PLC programming, and electronic hardware interfacing.
  3. Maintain critical spares inventory for key maintenance items to ensure continuous production and minimize downtime.
  4. Investigate and implement new production methods to stay ahead of industry trends, working closely with ME's.
  5. Contribute to design methods, part sourcing, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  6. Perform equipment qualifications and validations, including report writing to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  7. Design, specify, manufacture, test, and document production equipment, changes, and improvements to meet evolving customer needs.
  8. Interface with various stakeholders, including BSIL personnel and outside vendors, to drive project success.
  9. Take ownership of preventative maintenance procedures for assigned processes or areas to prevent breakdowns and optimize performance.
  10. Communicate concerns regarding work processes related to environmental impact, health, or safety issues to their Manager.

Requirements:

  1. Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Others), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
  2. Required skills: equipment maintenance, equipment qualification, critical thinking, problem-solving.
  3. At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  4. Necessary equipment or tester troubleshooting skills. Having worked on tester PM adds an advantage. Electronic knowledge is essential.
  5. Spare parts management technical skills and proficiency in Pivot.
