Job Overview:

Zapin Holdings Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated LAW COMPLIANCE OFFICER to join our team. As a Law Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's adherence to laws, regulations, and policies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting contracts and agreements that comply with laws and regulations.
  • Conducting thorough reviews of legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.

You will also be responsible for conducting research on relevant laws and regulations, and providing expert opinions or memos based on your findings.

In addition to these duties, you will:

  • Ensure the company's compliance with statutory obligations and regulatory requirements.
  • File necessary forms and returns with government authorities.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with external lawyers, regulators, and other stakeholders. You will also maintain accurate records of contracts and legal documents, and track renewal dates, expiration dates, and performance clauses.

To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field, and at least 2 years of experience in a legal or similar role. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, with Mandarin being an asset for interacting with Mandarin-speaking colleagues.
