Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cluster Director of Engineering to lead our engineering operations across multiple properties. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, maintaining high standards of safety and security, and driving business growth through innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers to ensure the effective maintenance and repair of our properties.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve energy efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance guest experiences.
  • Collaborate with property leaders to determine budget and highlight areas of concern.
  • Oversee the administration of service contracts and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coach and support engineering leadership teams to effectively manage controllable expenses.
  • Develop and manage engineering budgets to achieve or exceed financial goals.
  • Drive integration of departmental goals in game plans for each property in the cluster.
  • Oversee execution of long-term preventative maintenance and 10-year asset protection plans for each cluster property.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED; 6 years' experience in engineering and maintenance or related professional area; technical training in HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing.
  • OR
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major; 4 years' experience in engineering and maintenance or related professional area; technical training in HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing.
