Role Overview

The Portfolio Risk Specialist role is a key position within our consumer banking team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of portfolio risk reports, which will inform business decisions and drive success.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Preparing risk reports on a timely basis
  2. Working closely with stakeholders to identify stress segments or pockets of opportunities
  3. Tracking new product rollouts to monitor performance
  4. Supporting data infrastructure development initiatives
  5. Involved in Risk Scorecard strategy, monitoring, and periodic assessment
  6. Participating in process/system enhancements and digitalization projects
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. At least 2-5 years of working experience in the banking industry
  2. Possession of a recognized degree in Business Studies/Statistical or related disciplines
  3. Knowledgeable in SAS, SQL, or Python
  4. Strong skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  5. Data extraction and mining capabilities, along with strong analytical skills
  6. Good communication and interpersonal skills
  7. Possession of consumer product knowledge and working experience in Credit Risk MIS and/or business analytical area are added advantages
