Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Associate to join our team at Central Coldstorage Kuching Sdn. Bhd.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Purchasing Support
    • Manage procurement processes to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
    • Maintain supplier relationships to negotiate better prices and terms.
  • Inventory Management
    • Monitor stock levels to prevent overstocking or understocking.
    • Coordinate with suppliers to confirm or change orders via communication channels or purchasing system (if any).
  • Research and Analysis
    • Research potential vendors/suppliers to identify new business opportunities.
    • Analyze market trends to forecast demand and adjust inventory accordingly.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Update purchase records or suppliers database record to ensure accuracy and compliance.
    • Fill systems to maintain organizational efficiency.
  • Communication
    • Communicate effectively with suppliers, colleagues, and management to achieve goals and objectives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Adequate time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
  • Teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to perform administrative tasks efficiently.
Academic Requirements

Candidates must have a Diploma or higher in Business/Procurement Management or a related field.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is RM 40,000 - RM 60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
