Cybersecurity Expert

Job Description:

• Monitor and analyze potential security threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents to ensure IT operates safely and efficiently.
• Develop and implement comprehensive security monitoring, detection, and response strategies to mitigate risks.
• Liaise with the Security Operations Center (SOC) to ensure alignment with business requirements and feasibility of implementation.
• Evaluate and recommend industry-standard security tools, technologies, and solutions to strengthen our defenses.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards that meet regulatory requirements.
• Lead incident response efforts in the event of a security breach or cyber attack, containing and eradicating threats quickly and effectively.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Professional certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, AWS Security Specialty are highly advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience focusing on IT security and cybersecurity.
• Strong passion for IT security/cybersecurity and staying updated with emerging threats and news.
• Hands-on experience with penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and incident response is essential.
• Able to work independently as well as a team player and manage own workload to complete tasks within deadlines.
