We are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our team in Johor, Malaysia. This full-time position reports to the Senior Manager, Regional Finance, and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact on our Finance Operation and its growth.

  1. Evaluate the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of team work aligned with company policy, standards procedure and regulatory requirements.
  2. Process daily payments, including checks, wires, and automate clearing house (ACH) credit transfers to customer accounts.
  3. Responsible for accurately applying cash collections to the customer's account using suitable accounting applications.
  4. Collaborate with Credit Control team in resolving settlement disputes and unprocessed fund applications.
  5. Assist with month-end closing activities.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and be able to work independently. Prior experience in handling account receivable is beneficial. A recognized Degree / Diploma in Accounting or Finance and at least 3-5 years of experience in accounting/finance are required.
