Job Summary:

Chin Hin Group is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and effective operation of all equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement Maintenance Programs: Create and implement maintenance programs that prioritize planning, scheduling, and preventive/predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  2. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment inventories, ensuring timely reordering and minimizing stockouts.
  3. Training and Development: Provide training to maintenance personnel on the latest operating procedures and best practices for equipment maintenance and repair.
  4. Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
  5. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze maintenance reports, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations to optimize maintenance operations.
  6. Equipment Repair and Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair equipment as specified in manufacturer's manuals, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  7. Facilities Management: Maintain facilities, including compressors and material handling equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  8. Process Improvement: Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for process improvements, modifying equipment and processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  9. Outsourcing and Partnerships: Establish relationships with external workshops and vendors to outsource work that cannot be performed in-house.
  10. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field.
  2. Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in maintenance and equipment management.
  3. Language Skills: Proficient in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
