Our Compliance team oversees regulatory tracking activities, assessments, advice, and report on regulatory risk; we also take ownership of numerous compliance domains, develop and oversee internal policies, manage regulatory control frameworks, assess and mitigate risk, report and give assurance.

The Compliance Assurance Specialist will be responsible for overseeing our Compliance framework and methodologies, maintaining a repository of compliance controls and related information such as risks, evidence, issues, owners and actions, managing our compliance roadmap and pipeline, overseeing our company-wide policy framework, maintaining an Assurance Map across the Compliance team, acting as a point of reference for monitoring and assurance queries, managing monthly, quarterly and annual compliance reporting, tracking, developing and improving metrics to assess success and compliance risk, driving innovation and helping innovate our compliance tools, liaising closely with our other 2nd and 3rd line assurance functions, contributing to our compliance culture and trainings, and managing and coordinating specific compliance projects.

This role requires a deep understanding of governance, risk & compliance frameworks and a solid understanding of laws and regulations arising in the context of Regulatory Compliance. The ideal candidate will have professional English language skills, experience with regulatory frameworks, relevant risk indicators, and identifying and implementing compliance controls to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, impartiality, open-mindedness, respectfulness and ease with ethical dilemmas, trustworthiness and respectfulness in handling confidential information and sensitive cases, experience of operating at various levels within the organisation (e.g. senior levels, remote employees) and with external vendors (such as law firms, authorities, third-party vendors), 5+ years of relevant experience in compliance-related activities and roles, organisational skills and passion for continuous improvement and high-quality work deliverables, inclusivity, collaboration, delivery focus, strong stakeholder management skills, operational excellence skills (e.g. capable of building relevant reports, continuous improvement mindset) & project management experience, capability of multi-tasking in a fast-moving environment, strong communication skills (written and oral) and strong presentation skills, familiarity with reporting to governance bodies and authorities, ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision and demonstrate independence of judgement and autonomy, process-driven mindset, capable of designing and applying procedures in their day-to-day activities, comfortability in navigating databases & tools, and experience with providing training.
