About the Role

This Trainee, Group Engineering position at Top Glove is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or a young professional to join our team and gain valuable experience in engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist the supervisor in identifying and analyzing potential improvement projects to enhance the company's operations.
  2. Contribute to the planning and monitoring of short-term projects, ensuring timely completion and effective resource allocation.
  3. Collaborate with the supervisor to design and develop engineering solutions using software such as Draftsight, Autocad, Solidwork, or other relevant design tools.
  4. Participate in the creation of bills of material, fabrication, and quality inspection of finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  5. Support the supervisor in coordinating with officers and workers to optimize operational planning and efficiency.
  6. Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the immediate superior, demonstrating a proactive and adaptable approach to work.

Requirements

  1. A degree in a related field or equivalent from a reputable university.
  2. Excellent command of English and Malay (spoken and written) to effectively communicate with colleagues and stakeholders.
  3. Results-driven, with strong follow-up and negotiation skills to drive project success.
  4. A pleasant personality and ability to interact with people at all levels, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
