Job Overview: Businesslist seeks an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Architect to design, implement, and manage its cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in VMware, AWS, Azure, Windows, and Linux administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Operations Management: Manage Azure & AWS cloud operations management, cost optimization, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • VMware Support: Support VMware vSphere, vCenter, VMware VCF/Aria, ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, Citrix.
  • Windows and Linux Administration: Support Microsoft Active Directory, Group policy, Azure AD, Windows, WSUS & Linux administration, IT asset management (Lansweeper).
  • Disaster Recovery and Backup: Disaster Recovery & Backup Solutions: Veeam, Commvault, AWS EDR for critical systems.
  • Infrastructure Architecture: Infrastructure & Architecture: On-premises server farm architecture, networking, security, and roadmap development.
  • Security and Compliance: Security & Compliance: Security, risk management, and regulatory compliance for both on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure-related issues efficiently.
  • Cloud Cost Optimization: Oversee cloud cost optimization through right-sizing, reservation, and resource tagging.
  • Cybersecurity: Ensure security compliance and manage the administration of Microsoft Defender (MDE) for Windows Servers and TrendMicro Cloud One Deep Security for Linux.
  • System Migration: Lead system migration initiatives from on-premises to cloud environments.
  • Veeam Administration: Administer and maintain Veeam Backup & Replication, ensuring patch management and system upgrades.
  • AWS S3: Implement AWS S3 for offsite backup and long-term data archiving and manage backup optimization projects, including transitioning from AWS VTL to AWS SOBR, ensure data protection, recovery strategies, and incident response readiness.
  • AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery: Oversee AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery (EDR) for critical APAC servers, ensuring successful replication and conducting annual DR drills.
  • APAC Regional IT: Define and standardize APAC regional IT server room infrastructure, covering power, cooling, cabling, and security.
  • On-Premises IT: Oversee on-premises IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, operational reliability, and cost-efficient scalability.
  • Vendor Management: Manage vendor SLAs, software compliance, and respond proactively to audit findings.
  • Server Health Checks: Perform Windows & Linux server health checks, upgrades, and decommissioning of EOL hardware.
  • Lansweeper Management: Maintain and optimize Lansweeper for IT asset tracking and management.
  • Security Compliance Checks: Conduct weekly security compliance checks (Trusted Advisor / Azure Cloud Defender), OS/software updates, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Microsoft Defender Deployment: Deploy Microsoft Defender (MDE) security solutions across cloud and agency servers.
  • IT Infrastructure Support: Provide SME-level support for APAC IT infrastructure issues and escalations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud and on-premises support.
  • Expertise in VMware, AWS, Azure, Windows, and Linux administration.
  • Proven ability to design and implement scalable cloud and virtualization architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions (Veeam, Commvault, AWS EDR).
  • Hands-on expertise with automation tools like PowerShell, Jenkins, Ansible and Terraform.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), Enterprise-Scale Landing Zones.
  • Cloud certifications (Azure and AWS architecture/associate).
