Key Responsibilities

You will be accountable for the entire software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and support. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and collaboration abilities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining high-quality software applications using IBM AS400 platform, RPG, COBOL, and CL programming languages.
  • Ensuring seamless integration with other systems and applications.
  • Implementing and maintaining software development methodologies, such as Agile or SDLC.
  • Leading small teams and guiding junior developers to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and implement new technologies.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 6 years' experience in relevant Banking applications / Information Technology.
  • Proficiency in IBM AS400 platform, RPG, COBOL, and CL programming languages.
  • Excellent understanding and experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) or AGILE.
  • Strong service management or production support process flow and cycle experience.
  • Ability to lead small teams and guide junior developers.
  • Knowledge of Silverlake's banking software suite is an added advantage.
