Electrification Expert

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Senior Field Service Engineer to join our team at Adaptive Power Sdn Bhd. In this role, you will work on a variety of MV & HV electrical assets, including motors, generators, switchgear, control equipment, protection, and gearboxes. You will spend approximately 65-90% of your time on site, primarily in Malaysia, with occasional overseas trips ranging from a few days to several weeks. Your responsibilities will include new installations, commissioning, breakdown support, and customer surveys.

About The Role
- Work as a self-starter, getting on-the-job service experience in electrical & mechatronic products.
- Attend sites on short notice with limited resources and fault find a variety of electrical, drive, and control systems.
- Possess depth of service experience in one or more of the following products: AVRs, Protection Relays, and Electrification.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
• Strong written and verbal proficiency in English.
• The right to legally work in Malaysia or the ability to apply for a valid passport.
• Quick learning abilities, self-motivation, and the capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
