Michael Page is currently partnering with a leading fintech company to find a talented Senior Corporate Attorney.

Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft, negotiate, and review client contracts for cross-border legal and regulatory matters.
  • Analyze the legal aspects of new product initiatives and advise on changes impacting the embedded finance sector.
  • Lead legal efforts related to financial products such as payments, lending, technology, liquidity management, foreign exchange, and other offerings.
  • Partner with the compliance team to identify and manage regulatory and compliance risks.
  • Collaborate with global legal experts to provide comprehensive support.
  • Manage external legal advisors to ensure efficient and high-quality support.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Law from a common law jurisdiction.
  • At least 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
  • Previous experience in banking, payments, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in Mandarin (both written and spoken) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance matters within the payments or financial sector.
  • Excellent technical, drafting, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
  • A highly motivated self-starter with excellent project management skills.
  • Effective advocacy and communication skills.
