The Product Compliance Specialist role at Steel Recon Industries Sdn. Bhd. involves ensuring daily production processes and output meet international firefighting product standards governed by overseas higher-level notified/certification bodies. The position requires coordinating with external auditors, both local and overseas, to present current products, factory operations, and process controls that adhere to specific regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct regular inspections of daily production processes and output.
  2. Perform in-process and outgoing product audits as needed.
  3. Observe production processes and products for nonconformities.
  4. Participate in internal audits.
  5. Assist with preparing for audits and liaise with external auditors.
  6. Provide technical support for product drawings and specifications.
  7. Collaborate with the Head of QA on administrative tasks.
  8. Support new product development projects.
  9. Communicate with notified/certification bodies regarding product compliance.
  10. Participate in product testing, which involves multiple trials and adjustments, requiring strong problem-solving skills and resilience.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Manufacturing, Material, Process, Mechanical, or a related engineering field.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in reading and sketching mechanical drawings is essential.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong mindset and resilience to handle extensive product testing.
  • Willingness to work overtime when required.
