This position requires a highly skilled individual to manage and implement system-level security with an architectural and project management view of IT Security.

  • Technical point of contact for the outsourced SOC provider
  • Level 2 escalation for identified incidents from the outsourced SOC provider
  • Production of reports on various tools for operational and management purposes, including presentation of findings
  • Internal escalations and closures management by respective teams
  • Presentation of Threat Landscape based on SOC outcomes
  • Project Manager for initiatives related to SOC improvement, including playbook review
  • Coordination with IT and internal stakeholders for smooth implementation and deployment

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Service management for the outsourced SOC provider
  2. Level 2 incident escalation from the outsourced SOC provider
  3. Report production on various tools for operational and management purposes
  4. Internal escalations and closures management by respective teams
  5. Threat Landscape presentation based on SOC outcomes
  6. SOC improvement initiative project management, including playbook review
  7. Coordination with IT and internal stakeholders for smooth implementation and deployment

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Bachelor's degree in IT or Information/Cyber Security with relevant experience and skill sets

Experience:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of working experience in Information/Network/Cyber Security with project experience (SOC experience preferred)
  • Established SOC experience is advantageous

Skills:

  • Project/Stakeholder/Time management with practical coding knowledge of Ruby or Python

Certification/Licensing:

  • Advantageous to have certification in security, i.e. Security+, CISSP, SANS
