Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cloud security strategies, aligning with engineering and architecture needs.
  • Lead and manage multiple product engineering teams, providing direction for leaders across program management, solution architecture, engineering, devops, and quality assurance.
  • Oversee complex operations processes, leveraging a combination of vendors, custom solutions, and internal resources.
  • Partner with delivery teams to transition legacy architecture to modern cloud-centric platforms.
  • Establish a company-wide process for evaluating cloud security tools, maintaining documentation of approved and preferred tools, and assisting with tool rationalization.
  • Serve as an escalation point for security architecture decisions spanning multiple infrastructure divisions.
  • Lead a team of professionals to monitor and report on the operational performance of security technologies and processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Added advantage for those with Google Certified Professional Data Engineer certification.
  • More than 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, cloud security engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in a leadership or managerial role overseeing cloud security engineering initiatives is required.
  • Knowledge of various cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their associated security features, services, and best practices.
  • Ability to build, design, deploy, maintain, and lead the implementation of cloud solutions across multiple public cloud offerings.
  • Ability to develop, enhance, and maintain automation of cloud enablement tools.
  • Exhibits strong communication and writing skills, conveying complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
