About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Hardware/System Integration Engineer to join our team at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and validating cutting-edge hardware systems that power artificial intelligence and high-performance computing applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Debugging and Validation: You will work on debugging and validating complex AI and HPC systems, with a focus on platform-level debug.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership in validation and debug efforts, working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute validation test plans.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with internal and external customers to resolve critical issues, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Electronics/Computer Science related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in SoC validation and debug.
  • Strong understanding of industry standard busses, such as DDR, PCIe, SATA, and other high-speed IO protocols.
  • Familiarity with BIOS, OS, and driver interactions at the system level.
  • Proficient understanding of x86 CPU architecture, GPU architecture, and functionality.
  • Experience with modern x86 microprocessor architecture and AI/HPC platform architecture is highly desired.
