About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Policy Specialist to join our team in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing the Group's compliance policy framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support senior management in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources.
  • Design, develop, and implement the Group's compliance policies, procedures, and processes to govern the compliance program.
  • Establish and manage the Group's non-compliance incident reporting system to ensure adequate handling of incidents.
  • Develop and execute the Group's corporate compliance training suite to educate employees on compliance matters.
  • Run periodic train-the-trainer sessions to ensure effective transfer of knowledge.
  • Conduct internal reviews and investigations on reports of non-compliance to ensure adequate resolution.
  • Consolidate and prepare Group compliance reports for submission to senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Partner with global Business Units on specific compliance initiatives and advise stakeholders on applying the compliance policy framework.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy, Business Studies, Finance, or Law preferred.
  • Relevant compliance, audit, or risk certifications desired.
  • Minimum five to eight years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Minimum two to three years' experience in a managerial capacity.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of business and industry required.
  • Proven experience in managing internal reviews, investigations, and providing meaningful solutions.
  • Proven skills in managing compliance communications and fluency in English, both written and spoken.
