Senior Reservoir Geoscientist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Reservoir Engineer to join our team at Elsa Talent Solutions Sdn. Bhd. This role will be responsible for providing technical expertise in reservoir engineering, with a focus on field development planning and asset technical assurance.

• Lead the Field Development Planning process, ensuring that assets are developed in a technically assured manner.
• Develop and maintain subsurface models, including surface modelling, to optimize reservoir performance.
• Provide input into geological depositional environment assessments, identifying opportunities for improved reservoir management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Well and Reservoir Flow Management (WRFM) plans, operational drilling support, and well integrity management.
• Maintain proficiency in reservoir simulation tools, such as PETREL, tNAV, and CMG, to ensure optimal reservoir performance.
• Utilize Integrated Production System Modelling software, like GAP, MBAL, and PROSPER, to optimize production rates and reserve recovery.
• Analyze decline trends using conventional and modern methods, conducting well and reservoir management activities to optimize production.
• Design rock laboratory analysis (RCA, SCAL, fluid analysis) programs to inform reservoir management decisions.

A minimum of 8 years of experience in reservoir engineering, preferably in a PSC/JV environment, is required for this role. A Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field is essential.

The estimated salary range for this position is RM120,000 - RM180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
