Job Description Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Plant Commissioning Specialist to join our team at GE Vernova. This role will involve the planning, preparation, and execution of commissioning activities for Mechanical Systems of Combined Cycle Plants.

Roles and Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement comprehensive commissioning plans for Mechanical Systems, ensuring timely and safe start-up of power plants.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate commissioning activities, including trial runs and acceptance testing.
  3. Manage and execute commissioning of power plant systems, ensuring compliance with project requirements and work instructions.
  4. Facilitate the turnover of systems from erection to commissioning and from commissioning to customers.
  5. Ensure accurate documentation of commissioning, operation, maintenance, quality, and feedback records.
Required Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Technology Process Engineering, or higher qualification is mandatory.
  2. Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in related power, oil, and gas industries and/or field service commissioning experience.
  3. Able to work independently and effectively communicate in a multicultural environment.
  4. Willingness to travel globally and adapt to harsh construction site environments.
