The MALTA team is responsible for improving the software foundations and infrastructure components that all Grab mobile apps are built upon.
The team's objective is to maximize the productivity of every Grab mobile engineer in delivering stable, scalable, and secure products with great velocity.
MALTA operates based on key principles: adopting scalable architectures, consolidating reusable assets, automation, and continuous delivery.
This role involves developing iOS applications, collaborating with teams to identify project requirements, and developing technical documentation.
You will work closely with the Software Engineering Manager II, Mobile (iOS) and be onsite based in our Petaling Jaya, Malaysia office.
Critical tasks include:
- Developing high-quality iOS applications
- Collaborating with teams to develop solutions
- Developing technical documentation
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
- Staying up-to-date with the latest iOS development trends and tools
This position requires someone with at least four to five years of experience in iOS development, including building and publishing several apps.
Key skills include proficiency in Swift, knowledge of the iOS SDK, and experience with Xcode, Git, and Jenkins.
Familiarity with design patterns and principles is also essential, as well as the ability to work in an Agile environment.
