About the Job Description

This position involves:

  • Developing and implementing business solutions to drive continuous technology upgrades and address platform and business challenges;
  • Optimizing functions such as indexing, retrieval, and sorting in our high-performance distributed retrieval system;
  • Tuning search effectiveness and strategy effectiveness to continuously improve search metrics and the E2E search experience;
  • Communicating effectively with business partners and product managers, iterating and optimizing products, and supporting business growth;
  • Conducting key technology research and addressing technical complexities to improve system efficiency and ensure availability, stability, and scalability;
  • Designing and implementing cutting-edge search architectures using advanced big data processing, indexing, and sorting technologies.

Technical Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Advanced Java programming skills, including foundational knowledge of Java syntax, object-oriented programming, collections, data structures, multithreading concurrency, and more.
  • Candidates with Python expertise will be given preference.

Technology Stack

The candidate should have experience with:

  • Java development frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, etc.
  • Mainstream relational databases (e.g., MySQL/PostgreSQL) or non-relational databases.
  • Messaging middleware like Kafka/MQ.
  • Version control tools like Git.

Language and Culture

The successful candidate will have:

  • Mandarin language skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for remote work with diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Java developer.
