Job Summary

The KYC Due Diligence Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for monitoring, governance, oversight, and regulatory reporting activities related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) in coordination with the Compliance and Control team.

The overall objective of this role is to develop and manage a dedicated internal Know Your Client (KYC) program at Citigroup Inc.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in KYC efforts in accordance with CBSU AML KYC Ops procedures.
  • Perform KYC reviews and ensure documentation complies with local regulations and Citi standards.
  • Determine if accounts are in scope.
  • Client Identification, Verification, and Screening.
  • Validate and confirm customer information such as address and employment.
  • Partner with internal units to ensure adequate due diligence processes are carried out for customer accounts and documentation reviews.
  • Highlight any suspicious product usage from an AML perspective to senior management.
  • Maintain quality standards for KYC reviews undertaken.
  • Ensure tech issues/procedural clarifications are highlighted to managers for further review and guidance.
  • Submit records for Business Approval once reviews are complete.
