Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance/Facility Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our hotel's operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our facilities while handling human resources responsibilities.

About the Position

This role demands a unique combination of technical expertise, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing daily maintenance tasks, coordinating repairs and routine maintenance of hotel equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Main Accountabilities
  • Maintenance Coordination:
    • Oversee daily maintenance activities.
    • Schedule repairs and routine maintenance of hotel equipment.
    • Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
    • Collaborate with external contractors and service providers.
  • HR and Administrative Functions:
    • Manage payroll processing for the maintenance department.
    • Organize work schedules to optimize manpower and resources.
    • Manage leave requests and maintain attendance records.
    • Handle administrative tasks related to maintenance operations.
  • Communication and Reporting:
    • Act as the primary contact for maintenance-related inquiries.
    • Prepare regular reports on maintenance status and expenses.
    • Communicate effectively with other departments.
Essential Requirements
  • Proven experience in maintenance coordination or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with basic HR functions, including payroll management and scheduling.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Technical knowledge of hotel maintenance systems and procedures.
Desirable Qualifications
