Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the ECC team to ensure 24/7 monitoring of data center infrastructure, including servers, networks, and environmental conditions, to maintain optimal system performance and uptime.
  • Oversee and coordinate response to system alerts and incidents, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary to minimize business disruption and optimize service delivery.
  • Develop and implement best practices, standard operating procedures, and incident response protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external vendors regarding critical technical issues and incident resolution, providing expert guidance and support to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions for future reference, maintaining a comprehensive knowledge base to inform process improvements and mitigate similar incidents.
  • Conduct regular system health checks, preventive maintenance, and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement and optimize overall system reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with operational procedures, security protocols, and industry best practices to safeguard data center assets and protect against potential threats.
  • Assist in disaster recovery and business continuity planning, including regular testing and validation, to ensure seamless recovery in the event of an outage or disruption.
  • Maintain and update ECC operations reports and dashboards to track performance metrics and incident trends, providing valuable insights to inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a strong understanding of data center operations and management principles.
  • Must be willing to work shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends, to ensure around-the-clock coverage and support.
  • Must be willing to work in Sedenak, Johor, or other locations as required, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
