Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer at DHL Germany, you'll play a critical role in shaping our technology backbone. You'll configure, deploy, and maintain infrastructure operations of our critical CI/CD and lifecycle platforms, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

Your Responsibilities
  • Manage tool upgrades, provide support, and contribute to the development of our suite of tools
  • Develop and implement automation strategies to enhance platform efficiency
  • Utilize scripting languages like Bash, Shell, PowerShell, and Groovy for consumption scripts and task automation
  • Ensure stability and efficiency of our Cloud-based infrastructure on Azure, including on-call support

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a DevSecOps Engineer or similar role in application/system administration (software development experience beneficial)
  • Proficient knowledge of scripting languages - Bash, Shell, PowerShell, Groovy
  • Experience with cloud services, specifically Azure, and understanding of infrastructure/networking concepts
  • Familiarity with tools such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, Cloudbees, SonarQube, Urban Code Deploy, Zabbix (or similar monitoring tool), Artifactory, and SonarQube and related technologies is beneficial
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, and commitment to continuous improvement
