Job Description

As a Cost Accounting Expert at Power Integrations, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cost accounting strategies, managing inventory, and overseeing general ledger management.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Costing Functions: Develop and implement costing functions, including inventory combined file, standard cost amortization, variance analysis, cost summary review, and other related tasks.
  2. Annual Standard Cost Updates: Collaborate with the finance team to update annual standard costs in the Oracle system.
  3. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory E&O provisions, account reconciliation, in-transit review, discrepant material requisition validation and review process, subcon inventory reconciliation, and month-end close in Costs.
  4. Audit Support: Provide support during inventory and distributors audits, including some minimal traveling requirements.
  5. Rebates and Authorization: Assist in rebates authorization and payment processing.
  6. Customer Sample Accrual: Support customer sample accrual processing.
  7. Revenue Forecasting: Assist in revenue forecasting for management reporting.
  8. Month-End Close in Revenue: Oversee month-end close in Revenue.
  9. Accounts Receivable Management: Manage Accounts Receivable, including collection, cash application, credit limit, invoice transmission, dispute resolution, and other related tasks.
  10. Distributor Claims and Reconciliations: Review and manage distributor's Ship & Debit claims and distributor inventory reconciliations.
  11. POS Review and Validation: Conduct POS review, upload, and validation.
  12. Auditor Liaison: Assist in liaising with auditors on specific item-related duties.
  13. New System Implementation: Support new system implementation and projects.
