About the Role:

Central Coldstorage Kuching Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive Food Safety and Quality Assurance programs to ensure all products meet safety, hygiene, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee compliance with local regulatory requirements and international food safety requirements.
  2. Monitor and evaluate raw materials, in-process production, and finished products to meet company and regulatory quality standards.
  3. Supervise, train, and mentor QA/QC staff to ensure proper execution of food safety and quality standards and policies.
  4. Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective and preventive actions for any food safety and quality issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in a QA role within the food processing industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Expertise in HACCP, GMP, SSOP, and food safety requirements.
  • Familiarity with DVS compliance requirements.
  • Certification in food safety programs (e.g., HACCP, FSSC 22000, or similar).
