Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Versatile Creation Sdn Bhd. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials to support our production needs.

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize material costs and lead times.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth material flow and minimize inventory levels.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including suppliers and vendors.
• Monitor and analyze inventory levels to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain accurate inventory records and reports.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure compliance with Mattel's requirements for 17 elements of HE.
• Review and analyze WIP inventories to improve planning and reduce waste.
• Expedite packaging support to ensure uninterrupted material supply.
• Replenish stock when required and prioritize inventory observation.
• Ensure all material purchases comply with RMS/QMS requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in procurement or equivalent job function.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
